Bio-based Direct Air Capture
Carbon Offsets That Work
Carbon Conscience Collective is a Sweden-based initiative that helps businesses manage carbon offsets by extracting CO2 from the air. In a process we call Bio-based Direct Air Capture, or Bio-DAC.
We work only with technology that has a track record, and that uses a combination of new tech and biological processes, to make a capturing CO2 from the air possible. Get in touch with us today to learn more.
Direct-air-Capture that actually works
Unlike other new technology that needs to be proven at scale, our methods work, and are based on technology and natures own processes that have been around for a long time. And even better, our end product has positive side-effects to.
Too good to be true. It certainly sounds like it is.
Using natures own processes to extract carbon out of the air
Our carbon offset is a service that removes carbon from the atmosphere. Although it can be expensive then planting tress or other initiatives, it is an the one way that already today works to reduce global CO2 levels.
Our service works by harnessing the power of plants' photosynthesis to extract CO2 from the atmosphere. The plants carbon is then preserved in a stable form through pyrolysis, resulting in pure carbon that can be stored for at least 1000 years safely, without ill side-effects. This process is a sustainable and effective, and builds on old ways of working already used by indigenous people in the Amazon.

What people say about the biochar process
Diego Justiniano, CEO of Exomad Green
"We’re proud to contribute to a solution that not only addresses global carbon challenges but also tangibly enhances the lives of local communities in Bolivia while contributing to the reduction in deforestation linked to soil degradation."
Nora Cohen Brown, Charm
"We've ramped pretty quickly in terms of actually removing carbon and part of that is because our process combines a number of components that already exist."
Brian Marrs, Senior Director at Microsoft
"Biochar is a durable carbon removal solution that can be widely deployed across mature and emerging markets--a win for climate, agriculture, and rural livelihoods. "
James Gerber, Project Drawdown
“Biochar, it’s kind of chemically locked in — it’d be very difficult to reverse that. For me, that is the most important reason that biochar has greater potential for carbon credits.”
About us
An idea gathering people with a background in sustainable business
The initiative is formed by Karsten Deppert, a serial entrepreneur with a track record in sustainability and businesses. He was part of founding Rescued Fruits as well as numerous business within the sharing economy and e-commerce. This project aims to make it easy for more to have a positive impact on the environment and society.
